My Missionary

Christopher James Jackson and I have been together for about 1 year and 2 months.

I Love him so much! More than I have ever Loved anything

As you may know tomorrow he will be the servant of the Lord for two years of his life

And I have never been so proud of the amazing man he has become by preparing for this day

The Lord really knows what He is doing when he sends these young men out to serve.

His work is in good hands

I'd like to bear my testimony that I know this work is so so important. Nothing is more important than the gospel and knowing that someone out there Loves you and died for you. I know that Joseph Smith brought truth to this world. The only fullness of the truth. I know that the Book of Mormon is true. And that we have living prophets on the earth today, that lead us, guide us and teach us the way to eternal happiness. I know that Chris was choosen specifically to go to the people that need him. I know that he is going to bring so much happiness, light, and hope into peoples lives. I am so grateful i could have been around his sweet spirit and his amazing strength. Chris is such an example to me. And he showed me what true, through and through love is. Because of him I know what I want in the future. He is my very best friend and I know how i need to be treated and how special i am. We are all special. We are children of God.
Don't ever settle for less than what you truely deserve. I love you guys and all your support and for being my amazing friends. I also love My Savior, He has been so comforting through all of this and has helped me see the positive side of things. I say these things in His name Jesus Christ Amen.

Ash Wednesday

Today my facebook has been full of status' about Ash Wednesday and Lent. I realized that I didn't (probably still don't) know a lot about this Catholic Holiday. So, I went to Wikipedia (like any student would do). I learned a lot about this holiday, and find it pretty interesting. Ash Wednesday is always 46 days before Easter Sunday, 40 not counting Sundays. The 40 days has a lot of symbolism from the Bible, the 40 days Moses spent on Mount Siani, 40 days of rain in Noah's day, and Jesus' fast. On Ash Wednesday there is a special mass ceremony with the marking of the cross on the follower's foreheads. The cross is marked with ash by the priest or minister. The members then give up something for their lent fast for the next 40 days. The members do these things to get ready for the Easter holiday. I was really impressed by this tradition. What a great concept to spend some time each year dedicated to bettering ourselves and preparing. I think that we should not only spend our 40 days a year but spend everyday giving up our bad habits and preparing for Jesus Christ to return again. That's what this life is about; getting ready to meet our Lord and Savior again, to become the greatest people that we can be, ultimately to become like Him. So, my roommate Lisa and I have decided to give something up for Lent. Mostly because we think it is a really neat idea to work towards. For the next 4o days I am giving up chocolate and saying things I shouldn't about people. And Lisa is giving up eating after 9 and listening to music with swearing. Starting today, so in 40 days we'll let you know how it goes!

PS- Read up on Ash Wednesday and Lent, it is really interesting!

La Psychadelic acid-trippin, aiyaiyaiy jammin fortress for mamasitas and the occasional puff daddy

That is the name of the beaty of a fortress, our masterpiece, our humble abode, our life! haha Inspired by Bob Marley..partly (I bought that poster and we stole it from the walll and put it on the fort!) So Me and my new roomie Asia (no she's not Asian) built a fort the other day becase both of our room roomates had gone home on Monday night, so we decided to move out matresses into the kitchen and build a fort around them, buy some yummy ice cream and watch a movie in our fort! So..we built it Monday and it's still up today (Wednesday) and hopefully it will for a while longer!
Here we have a lovely shot of me draggin my matress covered in it's lovely bamboo-cotton sheets to the kitchen! Please take not of 1.) The new green classes! 2.) The hair...which if I were right side up would be stickin up!
Here are three lovely ladies! This is during a commerical for American Idol(!) Me Carlita, and Asia

We kind of do everything in the fort. This is another picture caught from American Idol J Fish, Jess HOuse, Me, Carlie, and Asia's takin the pic!
But yes...I eat in it. I sleep in it. I study in it. We party in it. We even had a concert in it yesterday with a bunch of friends!
Well have a fabulouso day!

Love, HANNAH

PS Please feel free to stop by and visit the crazy long titled fort! There are a few conditions to enter though! First of all to enter you must perform an entrance dance that I must approve. Second you must bring a fort warming gift! There's some other rules but you can find out if you come!
