Seasons Greetings!

Hola friends, countrymen, strangers!
This is Hannah! :)
Well here's a little story...on many occasions i come check out this lovely blog of ours to see if anyone has posted! And I keep getting sad because I haven't heard anything from anyone in quite some time! So...I decided....hmm maybe it's a sign that I should update this lovely blog of ours!
This semester I feel that I have had some really great experiences, opprotunities, and learned a ton! It has had it's ups and downs, highs and lows (wow that's like the same thing said in two different ways :O). But I guess I'm greatful for the good and the bad. The good, because it really makes me happy, and helps me to realize how blessed I am, and how great my life is! The bad, because there is always something to be learned from it. Something to help me in the future, something to teach me how to improve. So, even if there is bad...let's all have a good attitude and try and grow from it!!
Here's a little update since my last fort post! First of all...after approximately three amazing weeks, our fort had to come down due to a cleaning check! :( But hey, we had a great three weeks with it, and made some awesome memories involving the fort! :)
I apologize these pictures are out of chronological order!

Above is some cool cats...all of which are from Moses Lake!! :)
Meet Mike! I did! Infact...I'm "engaged" to him! :) After meeting him, he restrung my ukulele, then we (a group of us) went to BR for buy one get one free sunday Tuesday, came home, and proceeded to jam! On a side not, I'm in a guitar class with my roomie Carlie, and have been enjoying it so much! Lately though, playing guitar/ukulele has been temping me oh so much not to study as much as I should!

LASERTAG! It's one of my favorite games...in the WORLD! I don't even care that I am horrible, or the fact that the day we played this, I was in white under a black light, and competely visible from miles (OK feet) away! But hey, I played over Christmas break...got last place...this time...I got second to last place! What an improvement!

We have kind of started a Tuesday Tradition of going to ice cream...I've gone the past two weeks...but I should probably limit myself! But I do love ice cream!
Warning this story has a sad ending. So, this cute cake of Dynomite the Dinosaur, unfortunatly did not last long. I know what you're thinking...Hannah, you're just such a great cook everyone devoured it right away. Unfortunately that is not the case. I made it for my friend's birthday, and while carrying it over, I dropped it down some stairs...and it died :( I was just glad I ahd a picture of it!
I went to this AWESOME Harry Potter dance! You can't really tell but I was Crookshanks, and I took Chandler...he was the whoming willow! :) This is just some of us afterwards...as you can see my whiskers are falling off!
This would be me and my beautiful cousin! She came over and we jammed on our guitars, went to a BYU Basketball game (which we sadly lost), ate some creamery food, and watched a movie! Although I am sad being away from other family, I really do love being closer to my other family! I had a blast with Miranda, and hope we hang out more often! :)
Now, I know what you're thinking! Those look scruptions...where did they come from?!? And you should be surprised to hear that I made them!! I was VERY impressed with myself! These are my Grandma's recipie and they are YUMMY!
I had some visiters visit me! IT was so fun to see Kourtni, KaiLani, and Mikki! They are all great friends, and I had a total blast with them! They should come visit me more!
This is at Yogo! We took a picture with a goal of getting in their slideshow...I still need to try and figure out how to email it to them! But we are celebrating Marshall's mission call!!
Here is me and Lilly anticipating Marshall's mission call! Oreo's always help with the tension!
Here's going to North Carolina! Yay! Congrats! speaking of mission calls Chandler also has gotten his to San Jose, Cali! Congrats to him!
Well that's a little update! The semester is coming to an end...and I cannot even belive I'm nearly done with my freshman year of college. I have even signed my housing contract for next year and have found that soon I have to register for next falls classes....so crazy! I'm not going to lie...I've really enjoyed my freshman year and am kind of scared to not be a freshman anymore...It's so weird to think that are practically no boys the age of 20 attending BYU...So, next year it's just crazy to think that the boys we will be hanging out with will be R.M.'s. I'm really going to miss all of my new friends that I've made this year, as well as all the one's from Moses...but I guess it's for a good cause...right! ;) I'm also frightened that everyone will be all mature...that frightens me :S
Well have a great day, week, month, year, and life!
Love always,
Hannah

La Psychadelic acid-trippin, aiyaiyaiy jammin fortress for mamasitas and the occasional puff daddy

That is the name of the beaty of a fortress, our masterpiece, our humble abode, our life! haha Inspired by Bob Marley..partly (I bought that poster and we stole it from the walll and put it on the fort!) So Me and my new roomie Asia (no she's not Asian) built a fort the other day becase both of our room roomates had gone home on Monday night, so we decided to move out matresses into the kitchen and build a fort around them, buy some yummy ice cream and watch a movie in our fort! So..we built it Monday and it's still up today (Wednesday) and hopefully it will for a while longer!
Here we have a lovely shot of me draggin my matress covered in it's lovely bamboo-cotton sheets to the kitchen! Please take not of 1.) The new green classes! 2.) The hair...which if I were right side up would be stickin up!
Here are three lovely ladies! This is during a commerical for American Idol(!) Me Carlita, and Asia

We kind of do everything in the fort. This is another picture caught from American Idol J Fish, Jess HOuse, Me, Carlie, and Asia's takin the pic!
But yes...I eat in it. I sleep in it. I study in it. We party in it. We even had a concert in it yesterday with a bunch of friends!
Well have a fabulouso day!

Love, HANNAH

PS Please feel free to stop by and visit the crazy long titled fort! There are a few conditions to enter though! First of all to enter you must perform an entrance dance that I must approve. Second you must bring a fort warming gift! There's some other rules but you can find out if you come!

Farewell

Yesterday was the farewell of two more of our friends.
Soon to be Elder Walker, and Elder Hickman!
They both did great on the farewell talks
It was nice to see everyone as well.
I know both boys will make such great missionaries.
I was lucky enough to be at BYU with both of them for one semester, and LOVED having them both there! Kurt was even in my ward! And cole once bought me and Lilly some goodies! :)
Anyways Chile, and North Carolina are sure going to be lucky!!

Good luck COLBERT and KURT!

Better LATE than NEVER!

That seems to be my lifes motto! However I do have a soul, and I am greatful for MANY things! The afore mentioned family, friends, missionaries, and so much more! This great education that I am getting and all of the awesome opprotunites that I have been able to have! However that will not be the focus of the wonderful post!

Take a picture trick!

That's right I am thankful for pictures! Well the technology we have to freeze a memory! That was can keep a small glimpse of an awesome memory saved forever! I just think it's so awesome! I LOVE LOVE LOVE looking at pictures, both old and new. Remembering past times and the great things we used to do. Seeing familiar faces. It's also great to observe the newer ones as well. See the new faces that have graced our lives! It's just all around great isn't it! We can see how much we have changed through them, see have other people who are having different adventues are chaning and the great times they are having!

Speaking of missionaries as well...here's Dylan converting Santa Claus!! ;)

Ocean Beaches

Well, last week the family, the grandparents, and the brother's girlfriend had a nice vacation to Seaside, Oregon! It was sooo nice to get away from work, and in Mason's word's "reality"! This post is a picture documention of my experience there!
Here islovely sandcastle made with love by Hannah and Kortnee. We named our kingdom "ocean Beach" because on the way to Seaside from the airport, there were a ton of signs with arrows saying "ocean beaches" and it bothered me because there's no specific town specifially called "ocean beach" and so, we named out kingdom that!
UNO! We played uno quite a bit, and I loved this picture which I took! I dominated sometimes, and sometimes I didn't! And no...I didn't cheat! Due to the rainy weather, games were played quite often!
This is another kingdom which Kortnee and I created! This one's named the "fresh linen fortress"! We made a fort over our beds, but there weren't many spare blankets, so we used sheets, and chairs, and mops, and hair tyes...and TP to make the sign! It was my favorite! When I woke up in the morning, one of the mops had fallen down, and so the "fresh linen" was pretty much acting as a blanket right on top of me!
Here we are enjoying being rulers of out kingdom!
I'm an official adult, and I still play with my food! But how can you deny that this isn't a masterpiece?!? It should be displayed in some famous food artist's museum!
Seals! A few years ago some of the Morrison's friends took us to a place in Astoria where you can watch seal wars! They fight for spots on the dock, and can sometimes get a little violent! You can see some of their battle wounds when you're closer! ha and they also put on operas or something!
The Ballards were also there! We did a few things with them. One day Taylor, Kortnee, and I wandered downtown for a little while, bought some perfume from our friend named Hungry, and then we walked Taylor home! It was fun! And now we smell Heavenly!
We stopped on our way to take Tay home and rode some swings on the beach!
Kortnee, and Taylor enjoying the swings!
Me and a dead jellyfish...haha We found a few dead jelllyfish...and seagulls on the beach. I posed with one...but shamefully I must admit that the name of my friend has escaped my mind's memory!
We enjoyed some yummy sorbet from Costco in pineapple bowl dealios! Very yummy...especially while in the hot tub!
Some cool mirror in Canon beach in a toy store!
Kortnee and I did our nails! Mostly Kortnee did our nails! Aren't they cute! Thanks Kort!
We also did some masks!
And then ate the cucumbers?!? Ha ha not really...it's just a dillusion!
Here's a lovely shot of a lovely purse which I purchased from a lovely import store! I forgot where it was made...somewhere very lovely I'm sure!
We bought matching hats! And you're jealous...admit it!
And then we wore them to the beach!
My parents brought some tie dying stuff! Me mason, kortnee, and my dad all made shirts, and this is Kortnee and one of my hand's afterwards! I didn't get a picture of all of our shirts afterwords...but they were all sweet!
Mason loved "driving" the wagon to the beach...and none of us complained...who wants to drag a wagon through sand anyways?? Only Mason! He was doing 360s and all sorts of stuff with it!
Here Kortnee and Hannah are on the beach...looking as sexy as ever!!
And last but not least....here's a braclet I made! Thanks so much to Kortnee for teaching me the art of braclet making, and for being super patient with me, and fixing my MANY mistakes!!

All in all, I had a great time! I had lots of fun getting to know Kortnee...Dylan's girlfriend from N. Ogden, UT! Not only did I enjoy her company, her nail and braclet skills, but I loved her music taste! haha especially Tally hall!!

July the Fourth...AKA The Fourth of July

Well, to start out with, I just thought I'd say how greatful I am for this beautiful country we live in! I'm so thankful for all of the freedoms we are able to enjoy, and for the many people who have made sacrifices for our country and the many people who still do. One of the freedomes I am especially greatful for is the freedom of religion! Where would we all be without our awesome church, and prophet, and leaders?!? I love this picture, because it's at the Rexburg temple...in Rexburg, Idaho! Anyways here's how I spent my fourth of July celebrating our independence!
Althouh, we weren't all able to celebrate our beautiful country's independence together, Silly, Banana, and a few other friends [Marshall, Chandler, and Colebert] enjoyed a scrumptious BBQ at Banana's! Then we went out to Chandler's farm, where his cows had escaped, and we got his canoes, and headed back to town to watch the fireworks from the lake! The sunset was absolutely BEAUTIFUL I couldn't help but snap a quick photo!

Colbert liked to refer to himself as many different names that night. First, he was "Washington crossing the Deleware", and then I said he looked like Christopher Columbus arriving in "Asia" but really America! His ultimate favorite though was Capt'n Kirk!
I tried to get a pic of all of us in our canoes, but I'm not that skilled, so here's one of all but Banana! I just noticed our canoes are red and green...AKA Christmas colors!! Less than half a year! Here are a few pics of the fireworks! Our view was sooo AMAZING! We were right by where they launched the $17,000 worth of fireworks! Thankfully, none of them went sideways and made our canoes explode! The aftermath of the fireworks! We canoed right by it! The only thing I regret, was that we did not think to bring marshmallows, and roasting sticks! After the fireworks were over, we canoed back to shore, and went out to Chandler's! Silly and Marshall stopped at McDonald's on their way out. While we were waiting for them, Chandler climbed a tree..and Colbert wanted to, so he tried, and tried, and tried, and tried...and eventually got up...haha but then he couldn't get down, so he enjoyed his McChicken in the tree! As you can probably see, Colbert eventually made it down to partake of his coveted Cinnamon melt!
We did some of our own fireworks at Chandler's pond! We did some that made a loud noise, Roman Candles, Sparklers, some bottle rockets (which I did not realize you had to let go of), and a grand finale of some fountain which we thought was done...and then it kept going!
All in all, I think we all had a great night! Thanks to our awesome friends for being so fun! Thanks Chandler for letting us use your canoes, and going to your farm, we hope you found your cows!
I hope you all had an amazing independence day as well!

Here's a sweet vid. of us singing during the fireworks...I'm afraid due to the fact that I help the camera, my voice kind of overpowers the others a little...sorry...haha but the fireworks are awesome!
