80'S NIGHT!!!!!

Hola chicas! Sorry I haven't posted in awhile but ya know.....been livin the crazy college life. Haha ok so I decided I had to tell you guys about Andrea's, Maddie's, and My amazingly, awsomely, incrediblely fun 80's night!

So pretty much every friday night there are different types of dances you can go to like last week we went to Latin dancing (by the way was the absolute funnest dance I have ever been to) and there are other types like Ballroom, Country Folk dancing and Swing dancing. When you go they teach you how to do that kind of dancing for an hour and then you dance the night away like Latinas or Country Folk!

(this is cute maddie!)

It is so fun and it is only a dollar to get in! Everyone actually dances too and get reallly into it. They aren't lamos and stand around all night. So this weekend we heard about an 80's night. We didn't know where it was, what time it started, or who was going, all we knew was that WE WERE GOING!

( Here's Andrea!)

Haha we listened to 80's music all day, we went shopping at the DI to get our outfits and watched 13 going on 30 and Ferris Buler's day off to get in the mood while we got ready for this amazing dance. Haha it took us like 3 hours to get ready! Not even kidding. Then come to find out that this dance was actually at a club!! oh ya haha and it had a trillion people there and they were all decked out in their 80's attire!

(Our other roomies were in Utah, wished they could have been there!)

It was sooooo hott inside but it didn't matter cause they had Lazer lights, strobe lights, black lights and to top it off they had and actual fog machine!! We danced the night away got super sweaty and will never forget how much fun it was!!!

It was only a little, teeny, tiny bit crowded :)

Oh Joy!

Although I don't have much money to spare, I was in the bookstore the other day and stumbled across these beauties! I couldn't resist, so I splurged and bought them! Aren't they sooo cute....I can't wait for winter! I also made my first paper snowflake in prep for the oncoming winter weather!!
The other day C-Beaner and I made dinner for our first offial time!! We made some spegetti, salad, rolls, grapes, and apple juice! We were so dang proud of ourselves! We had to invite some boys over so people would actually believe we cooked! We're going to try and cook some more intense food! For now we're taking advise from "What about Bob" and taking "baby steps!"

The otherday I went to this tru Blue thing with my lovely neighbors! We had a BLAST! There was a slip n' slide thing, and blue foam and it was great! I was afraid I was gunna drown forturnately i didn't! I got foamy stuff in my eyes though, so I got to ask some handsome man in line with a clean shirt to wipe my eyes for me! haha

Silly Lilly and I enjoy occasionally enjoy an outing to lunch! It's sooo nice just to converse, tell stories, catch up, temporarily pretend we dont' have a buttload of homework left, and stuff face together!

I also used my pizza cutter for the first time this week! I was sooo excited, I had been anticipating this moment since the day I bought this little tressure! So, yeah I finally bought a frozen pizza...mostly I just wanted to use my pizza cutter, but the pizza was quite scruptious!

Roomies!

Well, these are my lovely roomates! They are all such sweethearts and I'm so glad I get to room with them all! Today we went to Cafe Rio...for my first time and it was super delish! I had a pork salad and will be consuming the leftovers tomorrow for lunch :D I guess I'll just say a little about each of my roomis! My "roomdawg" as some guys called it today (the girl that's in my actual room with me) is Carolyn Bean...she goes by Carlie, and I call her C Bean, and Emily calls her Bean Burrito! But she's awesome! We put up some glow in the dark stars in our room, I tried to make the Big Dipper...but it looks a little retarded! haha She's totally awesome though and I love her! She's awesome at taking pics! She won 2nd and 3rd place in the Utah State fair in the adult section!! Go Car! Oh...and she puts up with me so total props to her!
Next is the one and only Jessica Fisher AKA Jess Fish....or Fish...or Texas! She's from Texas! haha She's SUPER good at the violin, she's a pro! She's in the orchestra and just crazy good! She's a total sweetheart as well!
Now onto Jessica! And no...I'm not making a silly mistake...both of their names are Jessica! Jessica House AKA Jess House! She's also totally rockin awesome! She is patient because she has taken on the challenge of teaching me soccer a little better! We went to a field yesterday and she saw what she was in for...but she didn't give up! She also is sooo clever! She plans out her meals so she will eat healthier, and know what food to have in stock...or just plain have food! I should probably follow her example...but i'm too lazy! But hey, at least I thought about it right?!?
Next is Karina! Karina is soo aweomse! She's adorable! She let me sing a song with her ther other day over and over and over and didn't shoot me! haha Anyways she's an expert at men, and so I'm going to learn some of her expertise from her ;) She was so sweet today, she told me the best thing to order at Cafe Rio, and it was sooooo yummy! She's also a pro rapper/rhymer!
Lastly is Emily AKA Em AKA Emilia! Emily is also super awesome just like the rest of my lovely roomies! She lets me steal some of her milk for my cereal when I'm all out! She also just had a birthday and gave us all reason to celebrate! She's just overall hilarious and the things she says cracks me up!
Ok well it's getting late/early and i have class in the morning, but I just thought I'd say how awesome my roomies are!! If they read this I love you guys!!!
And senioritas...I miss you all dearly! There's always room for visitors in my apartment!
Love, HANNAH

Monkey Girl

So this is only my third post and I am still no good at it so dont mind that haha... but today before Addie and I went to walmart she wanted a snack and i needed to look and see what I needed to buy, and she wouldnt say what she wanted she just kept pointing and finally she just started climb so that she could show me what she wanted... and its actually really funny to watch because shes so tiny she really has to reach to get to the next shelf. This picture was when she had finally made it all the way to where she wanted to be haha.

this is part of her adventure up.

she has learned to use her resorces like any short person does haha when I was little I remember doing alot of the things she does to get what was needed or wanted haha

She holds on like her life depends on it.. even tho she knows I stand right behind her.. she WON'T let me help her. She is a very independent little girl haha.

but funny story... Addie and I were at good old Walmart i was standing in the check out and the lady behind me asked me how old my daughter was... WHAT IN THE WORLD?!?! First of all do i even look old enough to have a kid.. i dont think so haha... second.. shes korean and i soooooo am not haha... that pretty much made my dad because i got lots of laughs because of that.. i quickly cleared up that i was just the nanny.

And who knew a princess tooth brush could make a three year old SO happy haha.. today addie came with me when i went and picked up trey and taft from school and then took them to the dentist.. because addies family is good family friends with them and i know him he gave her a tooth brush and let her pick out a toy haha you should have seen her eyes get way big as Dr. Jensen asked her if she wanted the tooth brush it was very funny... i am hoping that because i will be working ALOT next week i will get some pictures of the boys to post.

and this now leads to my next week... stacy (my boss) and her husband are going to japan for a week because of work. so i am staying with the kids all week.. this should be interesting lol... i have a feeling the kids will get more sick of me than i will of them :) lets hope not because they are STUCK with me haha

oh and one last thing.. i am sorry to everyone that i am to lazy to edit my pictures like everyone else does :/ haha

Jon Schmidt!

*Before I start, Mom- I have finished all my homework for the night. I just want to let my fellow senioritas know what I'm up to. Don't worry! This is my "yay!" face because I finished my homework! :)
Two weekends ago my cousin/roommate Jessica and I went to a concet at Thanksgiving Point in Utah. We bought the tickets and drove ourselves there. We didn't even get lost, well maybe for a second, but we figured it out! I've never been to Thanksgiving point before, so I was really excited to go. It is so pretty there! The concert was at the waterfall ampitheater, and I felt at home a little. Except instead of a lake behind the stage, there was a waterfall. Not too different. In the far right picture above that man in the blue shirt is Jon Schmidt aka genius. Then the crowd in the middle, and the stage on the left.

This was our view the whole night. Not too shabby. Except, we had a crazy lady sit in front of us. Well, maybe not crazy. But she was very very competitive. Her group was playing cards and her whole heart and soul was in the game. At least she kept us entertained!

I've learned that Utah-ians like to arrive to events forever early. I guess they don't live by the Mormon law of 15 minutes late is on time. So we got there early, or so we thought, and found a huge line. We had to park way past the front of the line, then walk to the end of the line, and then to the front as we entered. But I need me some excerise, in order to ward off the freshman 15. So no complaining here. Once we found our seats we occupied our time taking pictures. The concert was so awesome. Jon Schmidt is a pianist who composed beautiful music. I seriously was in awe of him the whole time. Everything he played sounded so different, but equally beautiful. I really really reccommend him, we bought a CD and have been listening to it basically non-stop. It makes great "homework-doing" music. Also, to make the night even more awesome. He played an encore of his arrangment of Taylor Swift's "Love Story" and right before a guy went down and proposed to his girlfriend. Needless to say every girl in the crowd was envious and let out an "awwww". And! halfway through the concert he asked who won the BYU game, the crowd went CRAZY because we had beat #3 Oklahoma! Needless to say every man in the crowd was mad he missed the game and let out a very loud "BYUUUUUUU". What a great night!

The night before Jess and I attended a black and white mocktail party at a huge mansion. Have you ever seen Great Gatsby? Well, if you have, let's just say I lived it. We really felt like we were are a Gatsby party. We had a lot of fun and were even a little social. It's our goal. :)
That is all for now. I love you senioritas! Only 2 and a half months till we're reunited for Thanksgiving!!

I HEART COLLEGE!!!

Well I have offically started college and I absolutely love it! I have amazing roommates, I get along with every single one of them they are so fun and sweet! We are gonna party it up this semester jk. Here is a pic of all of us except natalie who is my roommate but we are working on getting a pic with her in it.

We have alot of fun, I feel like i have know these girls for a really long time and its only been one week. Besides my lovely roomates I have fallen in love with Byu idaho. I know, I know, I was totally anti Byu. But now I have offically proven to myself that miracles do happen. There is an amazing spirit here. I see people I recognize all the time, and have made lots of friends. I also have seen alot of people from moses lake, it feels like home :) Everyone is soooooo friendly, I have been helped out so much and have never gotten lost without at least two people pointing me in the right direction. And they do it without me even asking for help. It seems like everyone is trying to be their best self and are great examples to me. I also love the spirit there is in the classroom. I love how assignments have something that relates to gospel. I also love that the temple is literally a 5 min walk from my dorm. Me and my roomates walked there yesterday night and I couldn't help but get and amazing appreciation for this university. I am so blessed to be placed on dedicated grounds. My testimony has already grown by being in this wonderful place. Hopefully this spiritual high will last all semester hahaha!

I love all of you senioritas and miss you like crazy!!! I hope your experiances are as awsome as mine are so far. LOVe YoU!!!

i love my job... :)

so because i pretty much never blog i decided its about time i do...
About three weeks ago i started working... and i love it!! it is a great job.. i am a nanny for a super nice family that is alot of fun to be around. there are 5 kids, 4 boys and 1 girl.. the boys have been in school so i dont have pictures of them but the pictures you see are of addie she is the sweetest three year old around haha and she is very smart. she is tiny but she is alot of fun and keeps me busy all day long there is never a boring moment when addies in the room.

Addie is a girly girl she wears dresses everyday and LOVES to have her finger nails and toe nails painted.. so the other day i painted her nails again and she wanted to paint mine .. i let her.. for a three year old she didnt to to bad if you ask me haha... she loves to have each nail a different color.. it is alot of work getting a three year old that loves to be on the move to sit still long enough for her nails to dry and make sure she doesnt get the nail polish on anything. haha
she makes me look like i am really big haha but shes just super tiny..

look at that concentration.. haha

this weekend i painted my nails.. the first thing addie noticed on tuesday when she saw me, my nails were the first thing she noticed haha.. even if she doesnt have nail polish she likes to act like she is painting my nails..
And now for my interesting part of the day after i got home from work i ate dinner and right as i was done i get a call from my sister staci... her car wont start and shes stuck at work..30 min away and i have to go pick her up.. so i go pick up my aunt and we make the trip up there... after being hung up on a few times i finally got there to find out that even once we try to jump her car... it still will not start! ahh! so annoying... haha
by the way to all the senioritas... i miss you all like crazy! you have no idea! i am hoping in the spring to make a trip to idaho and utah to see you guys! good luck with school girls

Attention Adventures

If I have learned anything so far in this college experience is that I have ADD. The other night Jess, Mi'kel, and I were being faithful, dilligent students and doing our homework. But after about 3 hours of not getting much done, we decided it was time for a break and some fun. We headed up to the dollar theater to watch My sister's keeper (really good by the way). But! A late night trip would be no good without a little adventure. So we wore jammies, and winter hats. Right before we left, Jess and I locked ourselves out of our room.. we don't know how. We had a good time, but were tired the next day. I have a few breaks in my schedule, so I use them to study. Yesterday I had 2 hours between class and a study group. I thought how perfect, I can post on my english blog and get some other reading done. But I got distracted.. Did you know that my laptop can take pictures? I found out yesterday. Maybe this no attention thing is a problem. This is what I did in my break yesterday. Along with some good old fashioned people watching.

We also took a homework break on Thursday to go shopping. We heard there was a fabulous sale at Dillards, but found no such sale. Instead, I found this little beauty. My main man at the moment. I have never seen so many couples in my life, and I was feeling a bit left out. Now, I'm happy:)

And Lastly, I just want to share this cute picture of my amazing sisters. I've really come to appreciate how important they are to me. I know I've only been gone for 2 weeks, but I never realized how much I depend on my family. I love you guys! And I want to give Zo a little shout out, I hear she's tearing up the drill team scene. And I'm not surprised at all!

Well, that is all for now. I've got some more adventures to share, but I'll wait until I need another homework break. Have a great Labor day weekend!

Moving Out

I am a procrastinator. I won't lie. By blogging, I'm procrastinating completing my homework ;) Anyways I put off packing up, and so I had to do everything the day before we left...haha but Kelcey, being the lovely, amazing friend that she is, offered some of her services to help me. Because she has moved so many times (as you may have read in this post) she told me she'd come help me! I was sooo glad! Although it was hard, I actually got my room majorly dejunkified! Not only do I procrastinate, I'm also a pack rat. So, I threw some of my stuff from middle school out finally! haha but anyways, the above pictures are me and Kourtni, and Kelcey while packing. Don't you think we all look delightfully studious with our classes on?!?

And here is Kelcey, probably contemplating what else could be gotten rid of!
And this jewel of a picture is from the car ride over! Lilly drove her jeep, and me and Megan were her passengers! We partied all [day] long...when me and Meg weren't sleeping...and Utah wasn't freaking us out too much! Anyways shout out to the Pyle's for letting mi madre y yo tag along!

I am offically the last seniorita left in good ol Moses Lake, and saying goodbye is harder than I thought.

January 2006: The first day I met Moses Lake

It was pitch black outside, and my family and I were driving on highway 17 finally making it to our destination. After a 13 hour drive, 6 people, cat and dog crammed in our car all the grumpyness and exhaution disappeared when we pulled in our new home town Moses Lake, Washington. We were extatic, and the first thing my mom said was, "Don't let the lights fool you . It looks alot smaller during the day."

The first night we slept in moses was at the Ameristay inn, by the bowling alley. I was texting my old neighbor from syracuse in our hotel room and he was bribing me with a new car if I convinced my family to moved back to stay with them. I was very very close to excepting. We were very close friends with our neighbors and hung out with them all the time. We still keep in touch and see them when we visit utah.

The next day i got to see my new home for the very first time. Since this was our 13th maybe 14th move... i loose track... I had held it together pretty good and didn't shed a tear the whole time we packed up our house and the long drive up here. i was fine untill we started walking around the new house. It was offical and it finally dawned on me that I wasn't going back, I wasn't going to be able to finish my second semester of high school as a sophmore, I wasn't going to see my friends for a very long time some of them maybe never again. Walking around my new room crying my mom thought it was because i hated it, but the real reason was because i was scared and sad to leave my past behind.

What i didn't know was that this new little town, that i had never heard of before in my entire life, was going to welcome me and my family with huge open arms and will always hold a place in my heart forever! I didn't know I was going to a school with tons of kids with my standards and beliefs. I didn't know that almost everyone in this town is related and if your not it still feels that way. I didn't know that my testimony would grow stronger because of the missionary experiances that i had and never would have had if i still lived in utah. i didn't know that my heavenly father placed me and my family here for a purpose to learn and grow. i didn't know i would have the time of my life!!!

I will never forget this town and all the people and all the experiances i had here. I know that im heading off to another place where im supose to be and it will change my life forever like moses lake did. My mom has this quote and it says "It takes courage to grow up and become who you really are." E. E. Cummings. I think that is very very true and im starting to realize that more and more every day. But i came up with another quote that is even more true, "It takes courage and FAITH to grow up and become who your Heavenly Father wants you to become."I know no matter what happens at college it will be perfectly fine cause i got someone watching out for me. Hopefully I'll make him proud. I love ya moses lake and Rexburg... here I come!!
