Footy Jammies!!

Ok so Karissa and I went on an adventure for halloween costumes and we came across these beauties at target! I never thought i would find some awesome footy pajamas that were giant size for me but alas there they were in the little boys section for only 13 dollars.... They are so comfy we wear them everywhere it is sweet... You know your jealous lol

Anyways other than that nothing new is going on with me other than getting excited for thanksgiving so i can see all you guys...

P.S. if any of you have an idea for a halloween costume that doesnt cost 40 bucks let me know cuz im at a loss i cant believe how much they charge for so little fabric...

Masquerade!!

Well last night My roomates and I attended a Masquerade Ball.!!!!!!! Oh my gosh it was so amazingly fun. One of the dances that i will never forget ever!!!!! There was alot more people there than I thought there would be and everyone had amazing costumes!

I do beleive I had the sweetest mask there and I'm sure all of you would agree! Andrea found it in salt lake city, she wasn't sure if i would like it. I loved it sooooo much!!! haha we made chris' mask, isn't it fabulous?

There isn't a picture of him cause he was so late but Blake Roylance attended this ball with us and he was Natalie's date (the redhead). I think he had a blast!! Or at least he prettended he had alot of fun haha.

There was a live band and they pretty much played swing, latin, and slow songs the whole night!!!! We had no idea how to dance to this music so we just made everything up as we went. Haha by the end of the night it looked like we were pros haha but really we had no idea what we were doing!

Real Salt Lake

Last Wednesday I went to a Real Salt Lake game in Salt Lake. Real Salt Lake is the professional soccer team from Salt Lake. They played the New York Red Bulls (I think) and won! I've never been before so I was really excited, it was so fun! No one scored until the last ten minutes. The final score was 2-0. The top picture is of my cousins Brad and Rob cheering on the team.

This is a group of crazy fans, you can't really tell but I don't have a colored picture of them. They had two huge drums and banged on them the WHOLE game. And not like played some chant, no just randomly hitting it. I really don't even know if they watched at all. Every time I looked over there was a cloud of smoke coming from them, and they were ALL jumping up and down. So weird.

We got our tickets through a promotion at UVU, they gave us these free T-shirts to wear. It was too cold for me though:) But I did wear it to school the other day.

Well for my humanities class I had an assignment to take four pictures. One had to be a portait, next a landscape picture, then I had to take two that had a theme of either the Journey, The fall, Redemption, or A hero. It was so much fun, I asked christopher jackson to help me and he was a wonderful model. I turned them in but the yesterday me and my roomate found out that there is an art show that the students can enter pieces of art into. I wanna enter one of the pictures htat we took and I need everyones help to pick out the best two pictures. I would love your honest opinion cause the winners get a prize. Hopefully cash prize!!! Nostalgia

I came across this video today in English class...well our teacher showed it to us! I think it's just awesome! Watch and see!

Anyways I just loved this video!! My goal in life is to be just like that! Not only when I'm an oldie but goldie, but always. Just to do things that I love, things that make me laugh, and have a good time! Lately I've just decided that why don't I just do what I want to do?!? For college, for a major, for a Friday night ?!? Well of course to a certain degree...no worries madre i'm not gunna go off and do something you wouldn't approve of! haha but you know what I mean? It doesn't matter what everyone else wants me to do, but I should do what I want to do! I hope I don't sound too selfish or anything...I'm not trying to, but yeah it makes sense in my head!! I've just been thinking of that as I have been trying to live on my own and actuallly make my own decisions for once! The only problem is trying to decide what I actually want! And I guess I'm really the only one who knows!

Fun Fun Fun..

Warning! This post is a picture OVERLOAD! But these past weekends were a blast!

So once upon a time, my roommate Mi'kel and I decided that we wanted to go to Conference and see if we could get in. After class on Friday we headed up to Salt Lake. We went right to the temple and did some baptisms. We had a really neat experience in there, and can't wait to go back. The temple is such an awesome place.. so everyone go! We went to the Gateway and ate with some friends. Then we spent the night at her Grandma's.

The next day, Saturday, we headed up to Temple Square. We met up with Chris Andrews, Tyler Platt, Eric Palmer, and Bailey Andrews to watch Conference. We waited outside the Tabernacle and saw the Roylances. It was very fun to see them!

We watched the first session here, in the Tabernacle. I can't believe that the whole Church used to fit in the building. It's so small! The Church has grown so much.

After the first session we went over to the reflection pool to do a little of this, and try to get some tickets for the next session. We sat for awhile and got tickets!

So this is where we got to watch the second session. I love being in the Conference Center, it is such a beautiful place and the Spirit was so strong. The whole Conference made me want to be better at serving those around me and loving my life. I always feel rejuvenated after Conference.

While we were waiting at the reflection pool we ran into the Begesons. I was talking to Mattie and she was telling me how they were looking for Elder Coulston and I told her to tell him hi if she saw him. Not joking, two minutes later, I look over into the crowd and this is what I saw:

So we of course talked to him for awhile. We took a ton of pictures with him.

I broke the rules a little bit..

I'm happy to report that Elder Coulston is doing great on his mission. I think he told us he has been in the field for 9 weeks and is doing great. He spoke to Chris and I in spanish and sounds good. He taught us part of the first discussion and about a pass-along-card, he's a great missionary. He looked so happy and knows that is where he is supposed to be. It was so fun to see him!

Fast Forward to this weekend. My dad, Zoey, and Tessa came to visit me!! I am such a lucky girl. I love my family soo much and it has been way hard to be away from them. My dad and Zoey couldn't come down with us in August so they both had a free weekend and decided it was time to come see where I live. It worked out that my cousin Sunny and her mom (Aunt Ann) were here too. So, Friday night we had a sleepover in my dorm. Here's Lindsay (Jess' sister), Zoey, and Sunny before we started our movie.

The sleepover ended up being me, Jess, Zoey, Tess, Sunny, Mi'kel, Lindsay, and Jaime (another of Jess' sisters). We all somehow fit in Jess and my room. I don't know how, but it was a ton of fun. We stayed up doing "true laugh" and laughing super hard. It was seriously the best to have a sleepover with my sisters again. I miss ours at home, and we missed having Megan here as well.

Tess is losing her front teeth. It got pretty darn loose while she was here. It will be our before we know it!

My dad had to buy new sunglasses so we went to Cabella's. Oh man, Tess was in heaven. If you know Tess, you know that she is animal queen. She knows so much about animals and can tell you random facts about the weirdest animals. We walked around the store and she told me all about all the animals. She did have a tough time understanding how they got them to stay still, even when they were dead. On Saturday my dad took her to the Bean Museum (full of taxidermy animals) while Zoey and I went to a crazy Mary Kay party:) Overall it was a great two weekends. I've been so busy and they go by way too fast. Thanks family for coming! I needed to see you, 5 weeks till I get to go home again!!

Rexburg Weekend :)

so pretty much i have an amazing boss and she lets me have take a day off with just a few days notice. and this is where the story begins... my sister staci is getting married :) and i am so excited, shes getting married to a guy named matt who has pretty much been a part of the family since they started dating and he is alot of fun. staci and matt wanted to look for a ring together so staci my aunt kim and me all drove to rexburg after we got off work we got there at like almost 2 in the morning it was a long drive. BUT the exciting part is that on friday while everyone we had gone to see was in class we decided to go dress shopping and my cousin paige skipped her two classes to tag along. good news is.. staci found a dress at the first store and she loves it.. the dress is soooooooo her its crazy.. second is that on saturday they found a ring :) my goodness what a weekend but thats not all haha paige and i took their engagment pictures (well paige took the pictures but i helped) haha there are a few of the pictures that i have edited below..let me know what you guys think of them...and be honest please! anyways it was a very busy but good weekend and another good part of it was that i got to stay with paige and half of her roomates were out of town so we had a lot of fun :) it was good to see her...OH I ALMOST FORGOT!!! i got to see kelcey!!! it was amazing haha i also got to see chirs and i totally ran into britany on her way to donate plasma haha..it was fun
