HAPPY BIRTHDAY!!

Haha I'm a little itty bitty bit late because Trevor's bday was on the 20th but it has been a little hecktic around here!

Trevor is my little baby brother who is about 9 and a half years younger than me and is the biggest sweetheart ever! I love him so much and since it is his 9th birthday I'll write the top nine reasons i am crazy about him!

1. He loves to cuddle and hold hands with everyone in our family.

2. He is hilarious and says the funniest things ever!

3. He is always asking us to play with him.

4. He is already way good at everything he tries and kicks my butt in every wii game invented.

5. He cares about others

6. He knows alot about the gospel. Way more than i did when i was his age!

7. He is a really good listener

8. When ever i ask him if he'll miss me when i go to college he looks down and says........."maybe" haha at least its a maybe.

9. Trevor is the cherry on top of the jones family , it wouldn't be complete without him.

To celebrate this awsome occasion my mother and father took us to one of trevor's favorite places in the world. Lagoon!!! He champed out all the big and scary rides with me. I was the biggest chicken when i was his age i would have never gone on any of them, but trevor was a studd and went on every single one even the new ride wicked!

Trevor had a blast at lagoon he did not want to leave even though he could only walk about 20 steps before he had to sit down and rest. haha he was sooo exhausted when we finally dragged him out of there. i hope he had an awsome birthday and knows that we love him!

Friendly Feature

Cari and I have been friends forever...well since we both started swimming! We've banded together in the art of swimming, stalking Carl Jones [in our more immature years], lifeguaring, co captaining, cooking, and many other sweet activities!

There are many reasons why I love Cari! Here's a few!
1.) She's funny! She's one of two people who can make me laugh so hard I can't breathe, and I start choking!
2.) She tolerates my weird ways[feet, music taste, cooking concoctions, etc] ...she occasionally even embraces them!
3.) She's very smart! This coming fall (which sure is coming fast) she's going to Whitman. She always is up to date with all the current events, and has her own worldview! She also got lots of scholarships!
4.) We swim together, and always have a crazy awesome time! Most of our memories together are from swimming!
5.) She lets me eat her food at work sometimes!

July the Fourth...AKA The Fourth of July

Well, to start out with, I just thought I'd say how greatful I am for this beautiful country we live in! I'm so thankful for all of the freedoms we are able to enjoy, and for the many people who have made sacrifices for our country and the many people who still do. One of the freedomes I am especially greatful for is the freedom of religion! Where would we all be without our awesome church, and prophet, and leaders?!? I love this picture, because it's at the Rexburg temple...in Rexburg, Idaho! Anyways here's how I spent my fourth of July celebrating our independence!

Althouh, we weren't all able to celebrate our beautiful country's independence together, Silly, Banana, and a few other friends [Marshall, Chandler, and Colebert] enjoyed a scrumptious BBQ at Banana's! Then we went out to Chandler's farm, where his cows had escaped, and we got his canoes, and headed back to town to watch the fireworks from the lake!The sunset was absolutely BEAUTIFUL I couldn't help but snap a quick photo!

Colbert liked to refer to himself as many different names that night. First, he was "Washington crossing the Deleware", and then I said he looked like Christopher Columbus arriving in "Asia" but really America! His ultimate favorite though was Capt'n Kirk!

I tried to get a pic of all of us in our canoes, but I'm not that skilled, so here's one of all but Banana! I just noticed our canoes are red and green...AKA Christmas colors!! Less than half a year!Here are a few pics of the fireworks! Our view was sooo AMAZING! We were right by where they launched the $17,000 worth of fireworks! Thankfully, none of them went sideways and made our canoes explode!The aftermath of the fireworks! We canoed right by it! The only thing I regret, was that we did not think to bring marshmallows, and roasting sticks!After the fireworks were over, we canoed back to shore, and went out to Chandler's! Silly and Marshall stopped at McDonald's on their way out. While we were waiting for them, Chandler climbed a tree..and Colbert wanted to, so he tried, and tried, and tried, and tried...and eventually got up...haha but then he couldn't get down, so he enjoyed his McChicken in the tree! As you can probably see, Colbert eventually made it down to partake of his coveted Cinnamon melt!

We did some of our own fireworks at Chandler's pond! We did some that made a loud noise, Roman Candles, Sparklers, some bottle rockets (which I did not realize you had to let go of), and a grand finale of some fountain which we thought was done...and then it kept going!
All in all, I think we all had a great night! Thanks to our awesome friends for being so fun! Thanks Chandler for letting us use your canoes, and going to your farm, we hope you found your cows!
I hope you all had an amazing independence day as well!

family fun!

so jessica and i moved back with our mom three weeks ago today and we miss all of our friends like no other! and we can NOT wait to see them at the end of the week. but since we have moved my cousin got home from his mission and all of the grandkids in my family came home and we took some family pictures and had some family fun .

all of my cousins are amazing and i love them all! we always have so much fun together telling old funny stories... it was alot of fun having them all home.

this is my cousin brooke with me and jess... she didnt want to stand up so i sat on her.. then jess sat on my haha i think we might have broke her legs haha

after our adventure on brookes chair we decided to ambush paige... she wasnt happy haha but she put up a pained smile for the camera! after the picture was taken she moved her legs and we all fell haha it was funny.

this is all of my cousins and my cousin in laws i guess you could call them haha we all love to make jokes with each other the whole time we were taking pictures someone would make some silly comment to make everyone laugh ... and my uncle john was standing behind the camera dancing to make us smile..ahh ya gotta love him... haha i miss you all like no other!!!

Haunted House extra

I just thought I would add my pictures from our adventure to the Haunted House! And let me just say for the record, I was scared when Tyler left Hannah and I by the truck. I thought we were going to get stranded! But it was an adventure. Good times.

Fate?

So this kid was at my house the other day, sporting some sweet, amazing glasses...which I must admit...I coveted...I had to know where they were from, if I could purchase some, what the price was...I was almost prepared to sell my soul for them...OK maybe not...but close! I mean seriously, anything that is either straw related, or fake glasses related is totally me! Combine the two...and I'm in Heaven! The same day, I hit the road and....

SHAZAM!!
I purchased my own pair!! I think I rock them quite well! My next step is to figure out how to put some dark lenses in them and I can rock them at work! You could say it was fate that that kid was at my house, wearing some amazing straw glasses...but that would be a gross understatement!

A JOB?!?

Bait here to tell you all about her new job that she finally got.... Guess where? Good old Wal-Mart!!! i started on tuesday and spent 2 and a half days doing orientation which was way too long and then today after lunch I started on the floor in the grocery department where I restock and zone all the dry goods its lovely not... But hey its money and I was in desperate need of some of that... Anyways just thought I would update everyone on that...

Trepidation

On our way to a haunted house, we came across a...cemetery...it was kinda creepy!

After touching a spooky house, and hearing creepy noises, some people were a little disturbed

As your curious mind may have figured out already, the other night Banana, Silly, Bait, and some friends visited a "haunted" house in Ruff, WA. It started as a quest to cause Silly to feel a little Trepidation, as scary movies, don't cause those feelings for her. Trepidation levels were running high in everyone's body as Tyler pulled the car up to the house. Levels rose as we passed an uninhabited car with tabs from '96. We all touched the house, gaining a feeling of accomplishment. However, no one stepped in that night, because Tyler forgot to bring an extra pair of undies! A few nights later though, Bait and some of the guys went inside, and encountered lots of bats...and no, not the wooden kind, but the kind that fly!

Afterwards, our tummies had had it. So, we catered to their needs and stopped at Mickey D's and stuffed our faces!!

Our Yellowstone Trip!!

Nobody has as much fun at Yellowstone National Park as much as we do! We have been going almost every single year since before I remember. I have had so many amazing and fun memories from this place that I will never forget. I'd like to say a million thanks to my grandpa who has kept this tradition going for such a long time.
